It forms burgers from ground beef that cook evenly and retains their juice. The burgers stay flat, cook fast and hold together well regardless of how they are cooked. The secret of the Burger Press is in the patented design of its rings. It increases the cooking surface area of the burgers, allowing them to cook more uniformly and faster --- about 1/2 the time of other formed patties. The thickness of the burgers may be varied from 4 to 8 ounces.
